Fresh-Check Indicators
Fresh-Check indicators are used by food product manufacturers and distributors to monitor cumulative heat exposure over a short period of time and by food manufacturers and retailers to show the recommended limit of freshness for perishable foods.
Fresh-Check Indicators are a convenient tool for compliance with US Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards imposed upon modified atmosphere packaged seafood producers. Many fish manufacturers are using Fresh-Check to monitor modified atmosphere packaged fish sold in retial stores.
