Heat Threshold Excursion Indicators
TH-F® Irreversible Time-Delay Heat Threshold Excursion Indicators
TH-F single-use threshold indicators irreversibly change color from white to red to signal that a heat excursion has occurred. These indicators are intended to monitor heat sensitive products during short-term shipping.  A TH-F can be affixed to an individual unit, a multiple unit secondary package or the shipping box.  Standard TH-F indicators are available with threshold heat response temperatures of 9°C, 17°C, 21°C and 25°C (all ± 1°C). Customized temperature limits can be developed to suit customer needs.

TH-F Patented Technology
The TH-F heat threshold indicator technology is based on liquid diffusion. A change to the status of the indicator by exposing it to a very precise specified temperature for a short period of time (that is more than 30 minutes) results in the indicator signaling an irreversible change from white to red.

DEGmarker™ Irreversible Instantaneous Heat Threshold Excursion Indicators
DEGmarker single-use threshold indicators irreversibly change color from white to black to signal that a very high heat excursion has occurred. These indicators are intended to monitor heat sensitive products for the life of the product or during storage and shipping.  A DEGmarker can be affixed to an individual unit, a multiple unit secondary package or the shipping box.  Standard DEGmarker indicators are available with threshold heat response temperatures of 40°C ± 2°C. Customized temperature limits to suit customer needs can be developed in collaboration with NGK.

DEGmarker Technology
The DEGmarker heat threshold indicator is based on proprietary diffusion technology. The DEGmarker is manufactured by Nichiyu Giken Kogyo Co. Ltd. (Japan) and distributed by Temptime exclusively in North and South America, Europe and India by Temptime Corporation.
